Patriots vs Jets: a Team Loss
Talk about a team loss! Losing on Sunday to New England was a true example of that. The Jets played hard, with heart, and even came from 10 points behind to take a lead. Now all we needed was our defense, who had played well though with zero pass rush all day, to stop the Pats on the final drive and the Jets win. But Brady marched right down with ease and forced OT.
The offense started out with a beauty drive ending in 7 points and Sanchez strong. Then, Boom! Special teams give up 104 yard return and woke Pats up. The offense with Keller, Kerley, and Stephen Hill looked good and OL awesome but under throw by Mark cost a TD. Again the defense would play well but too many 2 yard passes that went for 10-15 and No match for Gronkowski. My biggest complaint is though our D played well, we never out any pressure on Brady and great Ds force a turnover to help the offense like Pats did to us. One other tough part was the drop by Stephen Hill on crucial third down, but he'll learn I'm sure for next time.
In OT all we needed was a FG to extend the game and 2 were beat on OL to force fumble by Sanchez. This ending just hurt so much after the Jets, so undermanned from injuries, worked so hard. Next week I feel is the key to the whole season. Miami is coming on and could easily np be 5-1, - How will we respond? A must win home game before the bye. The AFC is still up fr grabs for playoffs and I do think this Jet team is united this year! Guys, stay aggressive and united, it's far from over.
