Jets Training Camp 2022 – Positive Vibes Only!

Atlantic Health Jets Training Center

It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Being at Jets Training Camp every summer is the highlight of my year, and this one hasn’t disappointed! I still feel the same excitement I felt as a teenager watching Joe Namath throw to George Sauer and Don Maynard. And the Jets have been so wonderful to me. GM Joe Douglas, Rex Hogan, Coach Saleh, and others have made me feel so welcomed!

Quick Update: I have missed some of you over the past week, but it’s because I started feeling sick and tested positive for Covid-19. So, since Wednesday evening, I’ve been isolating in my hotel room, watching game film, but I feel great with very few symptoms. I hate missing practice, but I always want to protect our team, so it’s worth it! I should be back at practice later this week once I am through isolation and test negative.

There is such positive energy amongst the staff and team, and I am so excited to see the speed of our growing defense, our skill players, and the strength of our defensive line. I’m looking forward to the joint practices with the Falcons on Friday and Saturday.

Sigh of Relief

Like everyone, I’ve been waiting with bated breath to hear the outcome of Zach’s surgical procedure.

He has worked so hard this offseason and made so many great strides thus far in training camp with Coach Lafleur’s offense.

All Jets fans were collectively terrified by the potential injury, so having hope that Zach will be able to heal up sooner is a blessing!

Sign(ing) of Relief

Joe Flacco has had a solid camp and is an experienced vet who throws a beautiful deep ball.

He’s looked great in camp, and I think we’re poised to be in good shape while Zach recovers.

A great signing to have a veteran like Joe, who knows how to use speedy skill players!

Depth Perception

This is also one of the first times in many years that I think other teams will crave our cut players, which could open opportunities for trades.

We have some excellent depth in several key positions. I’ve never been happier that we have extended practice squad allowances now!

Say Cheese!

I wanted to share some photos from my visit thus far, and I’ve been so grateful to meet many of you!

Thank goodness for a great hotel, TV, and NFL Network on my phone!

J-E-T-S JETS! JETS! JETS!
